As a Kitchen Assistant with HCC-Temps, you’ll gain valuable experience working in various settings, including care homes, corporate venues, and event spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting chefs with food preparation, including peeling, chopping, and portioning.
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and organised at all times.
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Supporting the team with stock rotation and storage tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Up-to-date food hygiene certification (or willingness to complete training).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
