As an Agency Chef with HCC-Temps, you’ll have the chance to showcase your creativity and adaptability in the kitchen while delivering exceptional meals to meet diverse dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in line with dietary requirements.
- Managing food preparation and service efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene standards.
- Assisting with menu planning and inventory management.
- Adapting to various kitchen environments with professionalism.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional chef experience.
- Experience working in care homes or similar environments is an advantage.
- Up-to-date food hygiene and allergen awareness certifications.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Complete the Registration Forms – Fill out the registration form and declarations form, and upload your compliance documents (e.g., training certificates, DBS, right-to-work documents).
- Document Review – Our Resource Team will review your documents and let you know if anything is missing or needs updating, such as your DBS or training.
- Pre-Shift Allocation Interview – Once your documents are approved, you’ll be given access to view contracts and will be invited for a pre-shift allocation interview.
- Welcome Pack – After completing the registration and interview process, you’ll receive your welcome pack and can start accepting shifts immediately.
